Abstract:
The present invention relates to a room-covering rail system which is installed on the ceiling of an indoor space to provide assistance with indoor movements and daily activities for people with compromised mobility, such as the disabled, the elderly, and the like. The room-covering rail system comprises: a pair of stationary rails installed in parallel on the ceiling of a structure; a movable rail which is movably coupled to the stationary rails at both ends thereof, and which moves in a length direction of the stationary rails and is sectioned by a switching rail assembly unit; and a direction switching module which is held at both sides of the switching rail assembly unit and comprises a switching rail configured to switch direction at the switching rail assembly unit to a length direction of the movable rail or to a direction orthogonal to the length direction of the movable rail.
