Abstract:
Provided is a room temperature-curable organopolysiloxane composition that cures to give a silicone rubber cured product having good adhesiveness and immersed adhesiveness to a general-purpose resin (acrylic (AC) resin, polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) resin, polycarbonate (PC) resin, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) resin) and a metal (aluminum, copper, stainless steel). This room temperature-curable organopolysiloxane composition contains: (A) 100 parts by mass of a diorganopolysiloxane that has a hydroxyl group and/or a hydrolyzable group bonded to a silicon atom at both molecular chain ends and has a viscosity at 25 °C of 20-1,000,000 mPa·s; (B) 0.1-40 parts by mass, relative to 100 parts by mass of component (A), of a hydrolysable silane compound other than component (A), said compound having three or more hydrolyzable groups bonded to a silicon atom in each molecule, and/or of a partially hydrolyzed condensate of said compound; and (C) 0.0010-10 parts by mass, relative to 100 parts by mass of component (A), of a hydrolyzable silane compound other than component (A) and component (B), said compound having a hydrolyzable group and two nitrogen atoms in each molecule, wherein one of the nitrogen atoms is bonded to a silicon atom via a divalent hydrocarbon group having 5 or more carbon atoms, and/or of a partially hydrolyzed condensate of said compound.
