Abstract:
The present invention relates to a ropeless elevator system, and provides a ropeless elevator system, which: has a plurality of hoistways formed at one central rail unit, and enables a plurality of elevator cars to simultaneously and respectively travel along the plurality of hoistways; can set, in a middle section, various traveling paths for the plurality of elevator cars through a structure enabling the elevator car to be elevated along a different hoistway by changing the hoistway of the elevator car by means of a rotary rail part, thereby enabling the transport efficiency of passengers or cargo for a building to be remarkably improved; and provides the plurality of central rail units in parallel and provides, between the adjacent central rail units, a horizontal transfer means capable of horizontally transferring the elevator car so as to enable the horizontal and vertical movements of the elevator cars to be more variously set and to also enable the rotary change of a traveling hoistway on each central rail unit, thereby enabling faster and more efficient elevator traveling conditions to be provided.
