Abstract:
This rotary actuator includes a motor, a decelerator connected to the motor, and a shaft (20) that is rotated by the decelerator, wherein the shaft (20) includes a final gear (15) to which rotative power is transmitted from the decelerator, a first pinion gear (2A) that is disposed apart from the final gear (15) toward the first side (21) in the axial direction of the shaft (20) by a first distance (L1), and a second pinion gear (2B) that is disposed apart from the final gear (15) toward the second side (22) in the axial direction of the shaft (20) by a second distance (L2) that differs from the first distance (L1). The diameter of the shaft (20) at the second side (22) in the axial direction differs from the diameter at the first side (21) in the axial direction.
