Abstract:
Provided is a rotary compressor wherein a communication portion which communicates with the inside of a first vane slot and the inside of a sealed container is formed, and liquid is transferred from the communication portion to the inside of the sealed container during compression of a liquid, to prevent the operation efficiency from decreasing. The rotary compressor is provided with first and second vane slots (61, 62) which are open within the sealed container (12); an intermediate partition plate (36) which is provided between cylinders (41, 42), to close the opening of one cylinder (41 or 42); and first and second support members (51, 52) which close the other cylinder (41 or 42) and which have a bearing for a rotary shaft (16). A communication portion which communicates with the inside of the first cylinder (41) and the inside of the first vane slot (61) when a first vane (47) is spaced from a first roller (45) is formed in the intermediate partition plate (36).
