Abstract:
A rotary compressor according to the present invention comprises: a sealed container filled with a refrigerant therein; a compression part, housed within the sealed container, for compressing the refrigerant; and an electric unit, housed in the sealed container, for driving the compression part. The compression part comprises: a cylindrical cylinder in which is formed a vane-accommodating groove that is recessed in the radial direction and through which lubricant flows; and a vane that is accommodated in the vane-accommodating groove. A lubricant groove constituting a groove in which lubricant collects is formed in either a vane-accommodating surface constituted by a side wall of the vane-accommodating groove, or the vane.
