Abstract:
In a configuration, a rotary drive unit (1) is provided with: an annular track (2) having a plurality of first teeth which are annularly arranged on one of a base side structure (100) and a rotational side structure (101); and a swingable part which is mounted on the other of the base side structure (100) and the rotational side structure (101) and has a plurality of second teeth, the swingable part moving relative to the annular track (2) along the circumferential direction of the annular track (2) while repeating engagement with the plurality of first teeth caused by the plurality of second teeth being brought into close proximity to the plurality of first teeth and disengagement from the plurality of first teeth caused by the plurality of second teeth being spaced apart from the plurality of first teeth.
