Abstract:
A rotary electric machine (800, 1000) comprises: a planetary gear mechanism (860, 1100) that shifts the rotation of a rotor (820, 1020) at a prescribed gear ratio and is connected to an output shaft (941-943, 1025); a housing (810, 1010); a bearing (841, 1041, 1042) for rotatably supporting the output shaft; and a resolver (870, 1090) that outputs a rotation angle signal of the rotor, that has a resolver rotor (871, 1091) fixed to the output shaft or to the rotor, and that has a resolver stator (872, 1092). The housing has a bearing fixing part (813, 819, 1013), and a stator fixing part (813, 819, 802, 1013) which is a part adjacent to the bearing fixing part and to which the resolver stator is fixed, on the inner side in the radial direction. The resolver stator is fixed to a position on the stator fixing part, the position opposing the resolver rotor in the radial direction.
