Abstract:
A rotary electric machine includes: a rotary electric unit having a rotor having a rotary shaft and a stator having an armature winding arranged so as to surround the rotor; and a switching circuit unit arranged in the vicinity of the rotary electric unit and having a pair of switching element constituting at least an upper arm and a lower arm for performing switching control of the rotary electric unit. The switching element of each of the arms of the switching circuit unit is connected to a separate heat sync without using any insulator by the respective drain terminals. The separate heat syncs are made into a unitary block via an insulator.
