Abstract:
Multiphase armature windings include phase windings comprising a plurality of partial windings (801) per phase. The partial windings each include a pair of intermediate conductive wire portions (802) and transition portions (803) connecting the pair of intermediate conductive wire portions in an annular shape. The pair of intermediate conductive wire portions and the respective transition portions constitute multiple windings of conductive wire material (CR). Between the pair of intermediate conductive wire portions of the partial windings, one intermediate conductive wire portion of the pair of intermediate conductive wire portions of the partial windings of another phase is disposed, whereby the intermediate conductive wire portions for the respective phases are arranged circumferentially in a predetermined order. A sheet-like insulating cover (807) is provided at a part of the intermediate conductive wire portions opposing the intermediate conductive wire portions of the partial windings of another phase.
