Abstract:
One aspect of the magnetic pole rotary electric machine according to the present invention comprises: a rotor which has a shaft extending in the axial direction about the center axis and a plurality of rotor magnets arranged along the circumferential direction and which rotates about the center axis; a stator having a coil and surrounding the rotor from the outer side in the radial direction; a housing which supports the stator; a pair of magnetic bearings positioned on one side and the other side of the rotor magnets, respectively, in the axial direction; and a position adjustment member held by the housing. The stator rotatably holds the rotor in the axial direction by a field current flowing through the coil. Each of the magnetic bearings has a cylindrical inner-side magnet fixed to the rotor and a cylindrical outer-side magnet fixed to the housing and surrounding the inner-side magnet, and rotatably holds the rotor in the radial direction. The rotor has a stepped surface facing the axial direction. The position adjustment member has an opposing surface facing the stepped surface and can move in the axial direction with respect to the housing.
