Abstract:
One aspect of a magnetic-pole rotary electric machine of the present invention comprises: a rotor including a shaft extending in an axial direction centered on a center axis and a plurality of rotor magnets arranged along a circumferential direction, the rotor rotating around the center axis; a stator including a coil and surrounding the rotor from a radial direction outer side; a housing supporting the stator; a pair of magnetic bearings respectively positioned on one side and another side in the axial direction of the rotor magnets; a rotation angle sensor that is positioned on one side or another side in the axial direction of the stator, that detects a magnetic field of the rotor magnets, and that measures a rotation angle of the rotor; a first eccentricity sensor that is positioned on the one side in the axial direction of the rotor magnets and measures eccentricity of the shaft; and a control unit that controls current flowing to the coil. Due to the field current flowing to the coil, the stator rotatably holds the rotor in the axial direction. The magnetic bearings rotatably hold the rotor in the radial direction. The control unit controls the field current on the basis of output results of the first eccentricity sensor.
