Abstract:
This rotary machine is provided with: a rotation shaft (12) provided rotatably about the axis (C); a casing (11) which covers the rotation shaft (12) from the outside in the radial direction (dr) and in which a gas flow path (60) extending in the circumferential direction (Dr) is formed; a drain pipe (54) which is connected to the vertically lower portion of the casing (11) and which is communicatively connected with the gas flow path (60); a control valve (55) which is provided to the drain pipe (53) and which controls the circulation state of a fluid in the drain pipe (54); and a gas circulation pipe (57) which is connected to the drain pipe (54) at a position closer to the connection portion between the casing (11) and the drain pipe (54) than the control valve (55) and through which seal gas circulates.
