Abstract:
A rotary piston engine, comprising a housing and a rotor (1), the interior of the housing is provided with a rotating rotor (1), a rotor cavity is divided into compression chambers (2) with a variable volume, several combustion chambers (4) capable of rotating around a main shaft (3) of the rotor (1) are provided on the outer ring of the housing, and any one of the combustion chambers (4) is in communication with a compression chamber (2); and the combustion chambers (4) are in transmission connection with the main shaft (3) by means of a transmission system, and the combustion chambers (4) drive the main shaft (3) to rotate by means of combustion of compressed gas. The housing comprises an upper cylinder cover (6) and a lower cylinder cover (7), a boss (8) of the upper cylinder cover (6) is fitted with a stop (9) of the lower cylinder cover (7); a rotatable piston gear plate (10) is provided between the upper cylinder cover (6) and the lower cylinder cover (7), evenly distributed supporting blocks (15) are provided on an inner ring of the piston gear plate (10), and the supporting blocks (15) are in contact with the boss (8) in a rolling pair; the cavities between the boss (8), the lower cylinder cover (7) and two adjacent supporting blocks (15) are the combustion chambers (4). The present invention overcomes the defect of a long and narrow combustion chamber of a traditional Wankel triangular rotor engine by means of the rotatable combustion chambers (4), improving the combustion efficiency of the engine.
