Abstract:
The invention relates to a rotary piston pump, which comprises a cylinder block, a front and a rear end cover secured to the front and the rear end surface of the cylinder block respectively; a cam rotor being fitted in the chamber of the cylinder block, a portion of the rotor, having the maximum turning radius, coming into contact with the inner surface of cylinder block slidely so as to form an axially extended seal; a shaft having a rotor provided thereon and rotatable therewith; a parting means for separating the axially extended sealed chamber, which is formed between the outer surface of rotor and inner wall of cylinder block, into an induction chamber and an exhaustion chamber; an inlet and an outlet respectively provided at the two sides of the said parting means and communicated with the induction chamber and the exhaustion chamber, wherein the parting means comprises: (1) an axially extended circular arc-shaped recess formed in the inner wall of the cylinder block with its axis parallel to that of the cylinder block; (2) a cylindrical part co-axially provided in the said recess, with a circular gap formed between its outer surface and the said recess while the parting means is assembled; (3) a separating member provided in said gap and capable of sliding therein for separating the said sealed chamber into the induction chamber and the exhaustion chamber; (4) a biaising means for pressing said separating member against the cam rotor.
