Abstract:
A rotary press which can suppress risk of trouble occurring with the product quality
when a web is folded double by means of a former or two webs are superimposed. The
rotary press comprises a former (23), a folding section (F) for making a section
from two half-width webs (12A, 12B) which are folded double by means of the former
(23) or superimposed, and a controller (43) for adjusting the position of the
former (23) in the width direction of the half-width web so that the central position
(WM) of the half-width webs (12A, 12B) in the width direction agrees with the processing
central position (MM) of the folding section (F) in the width direction, wherein
the position adjusting controller (43) stores the position of the former (23)
in a predetermined width direction that matches the form of the half-width webs
(12A, 12B) and moves the former (23) to the position in the predetermined width
direction.
