Abstract:

This rotary shaft member supporting device comprises: a hydrostatic fluid bearing that has a concave pocket and a land on a bearing surface facing an outer peripheral surface of a rotary shaft member; and a fluid supply device that supplies a lubrication fluid to the pocket. The fluid supply device comprises: a pressurization device that is provided in a flow passage connected to a supply port of the pocket and pressurizes and supplies a liquid constituting the lubrication fluid; and a gas-liquid mixing device that is provided in the flow passage between the pressurization device and the supply port, generates a mixed lubrication fluid, in which gas is mixed with the liquid, by mixing the gas with the liquid pressurized by the pressurization device, and supplies the mixed lubrication liquid to the pocket.
