Abstract:
This control device (30) calculates a fundamental wave command value for allowing fundamental wave current to flow through stator windings (12U-12W) and a harmonic wave command value that is a command value superimposed on the fundamental wave command value and used for allowing harmonic wave current for reducing electromagnetic force variation in the radial direction to flow through the stator windings, said electromagnetic force variation acting on a rotor (14). When current obtained by superimposing the harmonic wave current, which is specified on the basis of the harmonic wave command value, on the fundamental wave current, which is specified on the basis of the fundamental wave command value, is used as drive current, the control device determines whether or not the output voltage of a DC power supply lacks in such an extent that the current flowing through the stator windings cannot be used as the drive current. When it is determined that the output voltage of the DC power supply lacks, the control device operates an inverter (20) so as to allow the drive current or current equivalent to the drive current to flow through the stator windings in an operation mode of the inverter, which is different from that when it is determined that the output voltage of the DC power supply does not lack.
