Abstract:
Provided is a seal member having a high seal property in a coolant flow path and a good assembling property. This rotating electrical machine is provided with a stator core around which windings are wound, a stator frame for supporting the stator core, a housing disposed outside the stator frame and forming a flow path space between the housing and the stator frame, and a sealing member disposed between the stator frame and the housing, wherein: the sealing member has a base portion that makes contact with the housing and the stator frame and a protrusion portion that projects from the base portion and is inserted into an attachment portion of the housing; the protrusion portion has a first protrusion portion formed with a projection portion and a second protrusion portion not formed with the projection portion; and the attachment portion is constituted by a first recessed portion for housing the projection portion and a second recessed portion for housing the protrusion portion.
