Abstract:
This rotating electric machine (100) comprises: a rotating shaft (3), the axial direction of which is the x-direction; a rotor (2) that rotates together with the rotating shaft; a stator (1) that is disposed in a region surrounding the side surface of a region in which the rotor is disposed; and a housing (4) that is disposed in a region surrounding the rotor and the stator. A flow-in path (9) for allowing a liquid refrigerant to flow in from the outside of the housing and discharge flow paths (10) for discharging the refrigerant to the outside of the housing are provided. The flow-in path is extended in the minus z-direction from the upper side of the housing, passes through the housing and the stator, and reaches the upper side of the rotor. The discharge flow paths are extended in the minus z-direction from the lower side of the rotor, passes through the stator and the housing, and reaches the outside of the housing. The stator and the housing make close contact with each other. In addition, the flow-in path passes through the stator and the housing which make close contact with each other and is continuous to the gap between the stator provided on the upper side of the rotor and the rotor.
