Title:
ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2023/139850
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The rotating electric machine according to an embodiment comprises: a rotor in which a plurality of permanent magnets each forming one magnetic pole are disposed in the circumferential direction within a core having a cylindrical shape; a stator in which windings are applied to a plurality of slots facing the rotor; and a plurality of groove portions that are formed in the outer circumferential surface of one or both of the regions of the rotor, which are obtained by dividing one magnetic pole of the rotor into two by the magnetic pole center line, and divided by the core having a similar radius as the circumscribed circle of the rotor. The plurality of groove portions each have a shape protruding toward the rotation center of the rotor, and the deepest portions of the groove portions are spaced and disposed so as to have a phase relationship in which predetermined-order torque ripples caused by the formation of the groove portions weaken each other.
