Abstract:
This rotating electric machine comprises: a rotating shaft (40); a stator (10) having a stator core (13), a stator coil (11), a stator magnet (12), and a stator magnet cooling flow path (15) provided between the stator coil (11) and the stator magnet (13); a first rotor having a cylindrical first body portion (26) and a plurality of magnetic pole pieces (21); a second rotor having a cylindrical second body portion (35) and a plurality of permanent magnets; a housing (45) having a peripheral wall (45a), a first inner wall (45b), a second inner wall (45c), a first outer wall (45d), and a second outer wall (45e); a fan (43) for sending a cooling gas; and a heat exchanger (44). The first body portion (26) has a first end plate (22a) provided with a first through-hole (23a) and a second end plate (22b) provided with a second through-hole (23b). A first cooling flow path (71) that is in communication with the first through-hole (23a) and the second through-hole (23b) is formed between the first body portion (26) and the second rotor, and a second cooling flow path (72) is formed between the first body portion (26) and the stator (10). The shaft directions in which the cooling gas flows are different at the same position in the shaft direction between the first cooling flow path (71) and the second cooling flow path (72) and between the first cooling flow path (71) and the stator magnet cooling flow path (15).
