Abstract:

A rotating throttle position sensor for detecting the position of the throttle shaft of an internal combustion engine, which can be fitted to the throttle shaft high reliably. The sensor is constituted in such a way that, when a cover (29) having a projection (33) on its lower surface is put on a case (11), the cover (29) can be temporarily fixed to the case (11) so that the rotation starting point can always be the same, because the projection (27) of a rotor (23) is brought into contact with the projection (33) of the cover (29) in a state where the projection (27) rides on the projection (33).
