Abstract:
Provided is a rotation device capable of obtaining high-voltage output. A rotation device 1 includes a plurality of rotation units connected according to a predetermined system, wherein the rotation units 100 and 200 include: a plurality of coils 32 disposed on a circumference around a predetermined shaft center at predetermined angular intervals with axial directions of the coils 32 oriented in a radial direction; and a rotor 40 that is rotatable about the predetermined shaft center and that is disposed on an inner circumferential side from disposed positions of the coils 32. The rotor 40 includes: a rotor main unit 42 that rotates centered on the shaft center; and a plurality of generating magnets 44 disposed on an outer peripheral face of the rotor main unit 42 at predetermined angular intervals as to the predetermined shaft center, with one pole and another pole alternately facing in a radial outward direction along a circumferential direction. At the plurality of rotation units 100 and 200, the plurality of coils 32 that output the same phase out of three-phase alternating current are connected to each other in series, and each phase is connected in a Y connection.
