Abstract:
This invention addresses the problem of enabling sufficient inertial force to be generated in a rotating shaft without placing a heavy load on a drive source, thereby preventing the imposing of structural restrictions on the drive source. Provided is a rotation fluctuation inhibition device 1 mounted on a rotating shaft 3 rotatably supported on a base 2, and designed to inhibit rotation fluctuation in the rotating shaft 3; wherein the rotating shaft 3 is provided with a plurality of movable weights 4 mounted to be able to slide in the radial direction, and a guide groove 5 surrounding the rotating shaft 3 in the base 2, the guide groove 5 being provided in a surface parallel to a surface orthogonal to the rotating shaft 3 and allowing the movable weights 4 to slidably engage; the sliding direction of the plurality of movable weights 4 is set at equal intervals around the axis of the rotating shaft 3; the guide groove 5 comprises, as shown in FIG. 2-5, a vertically extending first guide part 5a formed in close proximity to a vertical line passing through the rotating shaft 3, and a second guide part 5b provided on the side of the rotating shaft 3 opposite from the first guide part 5a; and the second guide part 5b is formed so as to approach the vertical line again after having been separated downward from the vertical line.
