A rotation friction squeeze riveting apparatus, comprising a work bench (5), a work head, a supporting plate (10) and a work head drive control apparatus; the work head comprises a clamping apparatus (1) and a friction head (2), a bottom surface of the friction head (2) being provided with a spherical recess (3); circular recesses (9) are processed on the supporting plate (10), the circular recesses (9) matching flush heads of flush rivets (4). A rotation friction squeeze riveting method.
