Abstract:
This rotor for an induction motor is provided with a rotor core (61) and a conductor bar (63) which is provided in each of a plurality of slots (62) formed in the rotor core (61), the conductor bar (63) having a first end section which protrudes from an axial first end surface (61b) of the rotor core (61), and also having a second end section which protrudes from an axial second end surface of the rotor core (61), the first end section and the second end section being bent in the circumferential direction of the rotor core (61). The rotor for an induction motor is characterized by comprising: an end ring provided to each of the first end surface (61b) and the second end surface and electrically connecting the plurality of conductor bars (63); and protrusion (61d1) and protrusions (61d2), the protrusions (61d1, 61d2) preventing radially outward positional displacement of the conductor bars (63).
