Abstract:
This rotor (10) is provided with: a rotor core (2); conducting bars provided in a plurality of respective slots passing through the rotor core (2); end rings (3) provided at both ends of the rotor core (2) in a direction of the rotating shaft of the rotor core (2) and connecting the conducting bars to each other; and a plurality of cooling fins (4) formed by being molded integrally with the end rings (3). When viewing each of the plurality of cooling fins (4) from the direction of the rotating shaft, the direction of the center line of a planar shape exhibited by each of the cooling fins (4) coincides with the radial direction of a circle centered on the rotating shaft. The planar shape is such that the width in a direction perpendicular to the center line is made larger as approaching the rotating shaft side in the radial direction.
