Abstract:
This invention relates to a rotor structure of a radial type synchronous motor whose rotor core (10) is disposed between permanent magnets (12). An end plate (14) having formed thereon a protuberance (16) for supporting the outer peripheral portion of the rotor core is disposed at the end of a rotor (8) in the direction of the center axis of rotation in order to prevent the rotor core and the permanent magnets from projecting outward due to the centrifugal force generated by the rotation of the rotor. Therefore, the present invention can provide a rotor structure having high resistance against centrifugal force.
