Abstract:

This rotor 1 comprises a hub 10 supported on a main spindle 103, and a plurality of blades 20 connected to the hub. While the rotor is operating as a rotor for a wind turbine, the pitch of the blades is changed in such a manner that the direction of rotation when rotated by a favorable wind that hits the front of the rotor is the same as the direction of rotation when rotated by an adverse wind that hits the rear of the rotor.
