Abstract:
This rotor comprises: a rotor core; a plurality of first magnet housing regions provided to the rotor core; a plurality of first permanent magnets that are housed in the first magnet housing regions and that form a plurality of magnetic poles; a pair of first inner circumferential-side magnetic gaps that are provided to the magnetic poles and that contact both ends of the first magnet housing regions; a pair of first outer circumferential-side magnetic gaps that are provided to the magnetic poles, and that are near the first inner circumferential-side magnetic gaps and are open to the outside of the rotor core through the outer circumferential surface of the rotor core; a pair of first bridges that are provided between the first inner circumferential-side magnetic gaps and the first outer circumferential-side magnetic gaps at the magnetic poles, the interval between the bridges expanding from the outer circumferential side toward the inner circumferential side of the rotor core; a pair of second magnet housing regions that are provided in a state of sandwiching the first magnet housing regions therebetween at the magnetic poles, that have one end positioned on the outer circumferential side of the rotor core and the other end positioned on the inner circumferential side of the rotor core; a plurality of second permanent magnets that are housed in the second magnet housing regions; a pair of second outer circumferential-side magnetic gaps that contact the one end of the second magnet housing regions at the magnetic poles, and that are open to the outside of the rotor core through the outer circumferential surface of the rotor core; a pair of second inner circumferential-side magnetic gaps that contact the other end of the second magnet housing regions at the magnetic poles; a third magnetic gap that is provided between the second inner circumferential-side magnetic gaps at the magnetic poles; and a pair of second bridges that are provided between the second inner circumferential-side magnetic gaps and the third magnetic gap at the magnetic poles.
