A route planning method, device and system, and a storage medium. Said method comprises: acquiring reference point selection operations on a first user interface; determining a plurality of reference points according to the selection operations; and generating a first flight route according to a sequence of the selection operations and the plurality of reference points, so that an unmanned aerial vehicle executes a first specified task according to the first flight route, wherein each waypoint in the first flight route comprises height information. Setting reference points by means of selection operations and planning a route in a customized manner according to a sequence of the selection operations improve the degree of freedom for a user to edit a route, and effectively avoid complex routes such as multiple times of ascending and descending or a round trip, thereby improving the operation efficiency of an unmanned aerial vehicle.
