Abstract:
The present application discloses a router networking method and system, a child router, a parent router, an apparatus, and a storage medium. Said method comprises: a child router being inserted into an interface of a parent router, and being combined with the parent router, a network corresponding to the interface of the parent router being a first network, the first network being network isolated from a second network, and the second network being a local area network provided by the parent router; the child router accessing the first network and acquiring networking information from the first network, the networking information being used for accessing the second network; the child router being pulled out from the interface of the parent router and being detached from the parent router; the child router being inserted into a target interface, the network corresponding to the target interface being the second network; and the child router accessing, by means of the target interface, the second network according to the networking information, the child router being used as a router for signal expansion of the parent router. By using said method, the child router can implement networking with the parent router successfully and in a self-configuration manner.
