Abstract:
Disclosed are a routing advertisement method and device for improving the generation efficiency of a routing advertisement message. The method is applied to a network comprising a first network device and a second network device, wherein the first network device establishes a border gateway protocol (BGP) connection, which is based on a user datagram protocol (UDP), with the second network device. The method comprises: a first network device obtaining one or more routing sending groups, each of the routing sending groups comprising one or more pieces of routing information; the first network device respectively generating at least one routing advertisement message according to each routing sending group, the routing advertisement message respectively containing one or more pieces of routing information in the routing sending group corresponding to the routing advertisement message; and the first network device sending the routing advertisement message to the second network device by means of the BGP connection.
