Abstract:
The present invention provides a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive composition which contains a rubber-based base polymer, the rubber-based base polymer comprising an isobutylene-based polymer having a polydispersity coefficient, (weight-average molecular weight)/(number-average molecular weight), of 4 or less. A 50 μm-thick rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed from the rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive composition has a moisture permeability at 40°C and 92% RH of 50 g/(m2∙day) or less. The rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive composition of the present invention can form a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive layer which has low moisture permeability and has so high durability that the adhesive layer can be inhibited from suffering troubles including lifting and peeling even in high-temperature environments.
