Abstract:
Provided is a rubber composition which is superior in all of durability, energy-saving properties, and dimensional stability in rolling. This rubber composition contains: (A) a diene polymer; (B) a carbon black including a carbon black (b-1) having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of more than 100 m2/g and a dibutyl phthalate oil absorption of 100-140 ml/100 g, and a carbon black (b-2) having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of less than 60 m2/g and a dibutyl phthalate oil absorption of 110 ml/100 g or more; (C) sulfur; and (D) a vulcanization accelerator, wherein the total contained amount of the carbon black (b-1) and the carbon black (b-2) is 25-55 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the diene polymer (A), the contained amount of the vulcanization accelerator (D) is 1.5-2.5 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the diene polymer (A), and the mass ratio (sulfur/vulcanization accelerator) of the contained amount of the sulfur (C) to the vulcanization accelerator (D) is 0.4-0.8.
