Abstract:
Provided is a rubber composition capable of improving tire fuel economy performance and wet performance, and including a diene polymer (A), a filler (B), and at least one type of resin (C) selected from the group consisting of a C5 resin, a C9 resin, a C5-C9 resin, and a dicyclopentadiene resin. The rubber composition is characterized by: the filler (B) content being 40-120 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the diene polymer (A); the filler (B) having 50%-100% by mass silica having an average primary particle diameter of at least 20 nm and a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of no more than 150 m2/g; and the resin (C) content being 5-50 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the diene polymer (A).
