Abstract:
A rubber composition which contains: a rubber component; a filler which is in an amount of from 40 to 125 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component; and a hydrogenated resin which has a softening point of higher than 110°C and a weight average molecular weight of from 200 to 1,200 g/mol in terms of polystyrene, while being in an amount of from 5 to 50 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the rubber component. This rubber composition is capable of producing: a tire that has excellent wet grip performance and low rolling resistance; and a vulcanized rubber that has excellent handling properties.
