Abstract:
The present invention provides a rubber composition for tires with which both wet gripping performance and wear resistance are attained. The present invention provides a mixture obtained by blending 0.5 to 50 parts by mass of a rosin resin with 100 parts by mass of a diene rubber, the diene rubber and the rosin resin being blended at a mass ratio of 1:1, wherein the mixture is characterized in that the difference Tga–Tgm is 5–50°C, where Tga is a theoretical value Tga for the glass transition temperature of the mixture calculated from the glass transition temperatures of the diene rubber and the rosin resin, and Tgm is the measured value of the glass transition temperature of the mixture.
