Abstract:
A rubber composition which comprises 100 parts by weight of a diene rubber, 20-120
parts by weight of silica, a sulfurized silane coupling agent, and a tertiary
amine compound represented by the formula (I): (I) (wherein R1 represents
carbon or nitrogen, and when R1 is carbon, then R2 represents
hydrogen or hydroxy) and having a pKa of 6.5-13, the amount of the coupling agent
being 3-15 wt.% based on the silica.
