Abstract:
Provided is a highly elastic rubber composition containing a vulcanization accelerator which produces a vulcanization-retarding effect equal or superior to that of conventional vulcanization accelerators without using a vulcanization retarder that may arouse problems such as decrease in vulcanizate properties and blooming, such as CTP. The composition has satisfactory workability while preventing rubber fracture resistance from decreasing, and is effective in minimizing rubber scorching. The rubber composition is characterized by comprising a rubber ingredient, a sulfenamide vulcanization accelerator represented by formula (I), a phenol resin, a methylene donor, and sulfur.
