Abstract:
Provided is a rubber composition able to be used as a raw material for a vulcanized rubber which is excellent in terms of low heat build-up properties and which exhibits high rubber hardness. The rubber composition is obtained by dry mixing a rubber wet masterbatch A which contains a carbon black A having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of NA (m2/g), and a rubber wet masterbatch B which contains a carbon black B having a nitrogen adsorption specific surface area of NB (m2/g). The content ratio of rubber wet masterbatch A and rubber wet masterbatch B is between 5:95 and 40:60. When the content proportion of carbon black A/B in rubber wet masterbatch A/B is denoted as LA/LB,
NA > NB (1) and 1800 ≤ NA × LA-NB × LB ≤ 7000 (2). Here, LA and LB each indicate 100 × (content of carbon black in rubber wet masterbatch)/(content of rubber component in rubber wet masterbatch).
