Abstract:

The objective of the present invention is to enable the rapid execution of the task of penetrating a rubber plug with an electrical wire. This rubber plug penetration device is provided with: an electrical wire holding member that holds the end of an electrical wire in a posture facing a rubber plug; a rubber plug holding member as a supply member having a rubber plug supply pathway that can supply rubber plugs; an electrical wire penetration mechanism that causes relative motion of the electrical wire and/or the rubber plug in the direction of approach thereof in a manner so that the end of the electrical wire penetrates an inner hole of the rubber plug; and a rubber plug restraining member. The rubber plug holding member is provided in a manner so as to move between a first position, at which a rubber plug housing hole faces one end opening of the rubber plug supply pathway, and a second position at which the end of the electrical wire is on the line of extension of the central axis of the rubber plug housing hole. The rubber plug restraining member restrains the rubber plug held at the rubber plug housing hole from moving along the direction of penetration by the electrical wire when the rubber plug holding member is in the second position.
