Abstract:
A run flat tire capable of effectively suppressing both the extraction of carcass cord and disengagement of bead during run flat running, comprising a reinforced rubber layer (8) of crescent shape in cross section disposed on the inner surface of the carcasses (4) extending in toroidal shape from a pair of bead parts (5) and a pair of side walls (6) to a tread part (7), the carcasses (4) further comprising cord layers (3) of at least one layer having radial cord parts (15) radially arranged at a pitch (P) in circumferential direction and circumferential cord parts (16) for circumferentially connecting the inner ends of the adjacent radial cord parts (15) to each other.
