Abstract:

The present invention provides: a rust preventive oil composition which has excellent rust preventive properties and easy degreasability, while exhibiting excellent stability at low temperatures and excellent adhesion preventing properties; and a method for producing a rust preventive oil composition. [Solution] A rust preventive oil composition which contains (A) a solvent that has a kinematic viscosity at 40°C of from 0.1 mm2/s to 10.0 mm2/s (inclusive), (B) a base oil that has a kinematic viscosity at 40°C of from 100.0 mm2/s to 200.0 mm2/s (inclusive), (C) a metal sulfonate that has a base number of 50 mgKOH/g or less, (D) an overbased metal sulfonate that has a base number of 300 mgKOH/g or more, (E) a wax that has an acid value of 10 mgKOH/g or more, (F) a full ester of a polyhydric alcohol and (G) a partial ester of a polyhydric alcohol, and which is configured such that the contents of the component (D), the component (E), the component (F) and the component (G) relative to the total content of the components (A)-(G) are 2.6% by mass or more, 1.5% by mass or more, 2.6% by mass or more, and from 0.5% by mass to 4.5% by mass (inclusive), respectively; and a method for producing a rust preventive oil composition.
