Abstract:
This engine (E), which is mounted in a two-wheeled automobile, is provided with: an engine rotary shaft (39) extending in the direction of vehicle width; and a supercharger (62) disposed to the rear of a cylinder block (42). The engine (E) is further provided with an air intake duct (70) that leads, to the supercharger (62), traveling wind (A) flowing to the front in the direction of travel with respect to the engine (E). The air intake duct (70) passes to the side of the engine (E) and is connected to the intake port (66) of the supercharger (62).
