Abstract:
A saddle-ride-type vehicle for transitioning between normal travel and high-fuel-efficiency travel by controlling the rotations of the engine, wherein confusion and feelings that something is wrong by the driver are reduced during the high-fuel-efficiency travel. A saddle-ride-type vehicle has: a target-engine-rotations calculation unit for correcting to the reference engine rotations, and calculating the target engine rotations; a target-engine-torque calculation unit for calculating the target engine torque; a target-throttle-position calculation unit for calculating the target throttle position of an electronic-control-type throttle valve on the basis of the target engine torque and the target engine rotations; a target-gear-ratio calculation unit for calculating the target gear ratio of an electronic-control-type continuously variable transmission on the basis of the target engine rotations; and a correction-reporting unit for reporting a correction of the reference engine rotations to the driver.
