Abstract:
Provided is a saddle-ride type vehicle which eliminates necessity for an additional exterior component. This saddle-ride type vehicle comprises: an engine (11); a vehicle-body frame portion (18) which is hollow and passes above the engine (11); and a fuel tank (41) which is of a saddle type and is mounted over and across the vehicle-body frame portion (18). The engine (11) includes a cylinder (86) which extends from a crankcase (31), and fins (88) provided in an outer peripheral portion of the cylinder (86). The width (W1) of the cylinder (86) excluding the fins (88) is narrower than the width (W2) of the vehicle-body frame portion (18) above the cylinder (86).
