Abstract:
This saddle-type vehicle comprises: a steering shaft (29); a stay (30) that rotates together with the steering shaft (29); and a handle lock module (40) that locks rotation of the steering shaft (29). The stay (30) is provided with a protective part (34) that surrounds at least a part of the outer periphery of the handle lock module (40), the protective part (34) satisfying either condition (A) or (B) below.　(A) The protective part (34) forms a closed shape covering the outer periphery of the handle lock module (40).　(B) The protective part (34) has a notch shape that covers a part of the outer periphery of the handle lock module (40), and is provided with a pair of facing tip ends (137) having a gap (Wn) therebetween that is smaller than the maximum width (Wmax) of a notch (135) into which the handle lock module (40) can be inserted.
