Abstract:
The present invention makes it possible for a saddle-type vehicle equipped with an exhaust muffler to protect a rider thereof from heat of a stay part. This saddle-type vehicle comprises a vehicle body (10) and an exhaust muffler (36). The exhaust muffler (36) comprises: a muffler body (61) through which exhaust air passes; and a stay part (65) that extends upward relative to the muffler body (61). The stay part (65) is fixed to the vehicle body (10), and a cover (70) is provided so as to cover the stay part (65). The heat-transferring ability of a material constituting the cover (70) is less than that of a material constituting the exhaust muffler (36).
